fuel: gas
odometer: 273000

2009 Veracruz ---bigger than Toyota Highlander, arguably better than the Honda Pilot
only produced from 2007-2012 and now replaced by the Santa Fe XL
Hyundai's best 3-row SUV before they started making Genesis branded ones.

Vehicle has never been off-road or used for much else than a freeway commuter in Toronto most of its life, then Vancouver for barely one-and-half years.
Rear-drive truck chassis with proven 3.8L V6 powertrain also used in Hyundai Genesis rear-drive platforms
(not the far less reliable 3.3L Hyundai V6 powertrain, used on their front-drive platforms)
273,000km

one owner, fully maintained vehicle with extensive Hyundai service records from Toronto Ontario since new
(check the VIN at the local Hyundai dealer, they can show the history)
brought to BC early 2023, inspected and insured here in BC
good Michelin Latitude tires mounted (stock size, 245/60R18)
A total of eight unmounted winter tires comes with car (all same size as stock)
a) one set of four matching Winter with about 45% tread
b) one pair, worn winters, for use as emergency spares, 25-30% tread
c) one pair, Winters near new 85% tread
(we can provide additional photos of the winter tires by email)

two working key fobs included, new batteries installed
synthetic oil change done at 272,100km (May 2024) and PS fluid refreshed with added synthetic PS fluid
Body has small knee-height door ding (about 8-10 inches long) barely visible with the dark grey paint at the leading edge of the left rear door, but does not involve the drivers door.
Body has zero rust, hood is unmarked as windshield deflector installed.
Windshield is new and without any rock chips
All-weather mats included inside vehicle.

Decent on gas in the 11-12L/100km range in mixed driving. Drops below 10L/100km under 100km/h on level highway.
no Check Engine Light illuminated!!!-so everything mechanical works
hood and tailgate struts all work.
Leather has no rips or tears

All power accessories including sunroof work, except the rear power liftgate, as the relay went "pop" with a bang on June 1st 2024. The power liftgate is actually very annoying to use as it is very slow to operate so significant time is wasted when it worked. I would leave it in its current state but to get it working would need a new power liftgate relay installed.

2" trailer hitch installed, but no hookup for trailer lights.
Vehicle currently insured and being driven in Williams Lake area

Safety
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) said crash results indicated, "... a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity" which is the highest result possible. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) found similar results when they tested the Veracruz, awarding it five stars after its frontal crash test for both passenger and driver and in the side impact event.[10]

On November 15, 2007, the IIHS declared Veracruz vehicles built after August 2007 a Best Safety Pick for side, rear, and frontal impact protection.

Can assist to deliver as far as Prince George or Kamloops if required. Open to reasonable offers.
